BATHROOM RENOVATION
Hainesport, NJ
The team began with the challenge to convert the small powder room on the first floor off the entry way hallway into a full bath for the client's elderly mother who would be living on the first floor of the home. The powder room did not have initial space for a shower & to top it off had an abundance of purple and gold wall paper... therefore we needed a big change! We mapped out a plan to cut into a coat closet to the left of the existing toilet, move the toilet, and move the door over to the right to allow room for our new shower.
The team took down part of the existing wall and re-constructed a new closet space outside the bathroom so the client would not loose all of her coat space. We moved the location of the toilet so that it would fit snug next to the vanity, allowing for room to install a stand up shower complete with stunning white and grey marble and matte black Moen appliances. The original hardwood floors were removed and matte grey, concrete looking tile was installed for a sleeker look. The not so hip wallpaper was taken down and replaced with a stunning shade of mauve from Sherwin Williams. A new door & light fixture were also added to the room. This seemingly small project incoorporated plumbing, electric, drywall, paint labor, and tile installation work.
